Vintage Mahogany Drum Style Library Table High Styled Carved Duncan Phyfe Legs. Family heirloom (yours) in the making. This 34.5" diameter x 27.5" high carved mahogany drum style hall table traditionally served in a library where books and correspondence and research could be spread out in elegant form. Unknown vintage maker, probably 1910 to 1925 pulled out all the stops on this piece, even below the drum style table top. Has the earmarks of top-of-the-line Grand Rapids furniture makers but could be North Carolina.

One drawer for stowing magnifying glasses, pens and pencils, stationery. Solid brass fittings, pulls, accents and casters. Flamed mahogany veneer panels with elegant inlay, and embossed green leather top w gilded accents. 34.5" diameter x 27.5" high puts a beautiful porcelain vase, or planter with a flamboyant Cymbidium orchid on center stage in a great room, study or entry hall.

It's a tad low to be used as a dining table but still suitable as a tea table! We're moving and the new place just doesn't have a space for it.
