The well-defined hinged top opening to a baize-lined writing surface with adjustable support revealing a well, pen tray and compartment for an inkwell. The case with simulated drawer for writing surface over a conforming drawer; each fitted with original brass knobs and Sandwich Glass caps. The fronts with matched mahogany veneers.
