The other pieces do not and may have been added later. All pieces are inlaid and amazingly built. This is a striking bedroom suite from the first department store ever in the United States. It was also the first department store to use price tags.
The tops are a fiddle mahogany. The tops are in amazing condition for its age! The antiqued legs and sides that are cream colored, show some wear but it's original and it just has paint chipping here and there but it does not take away from the set, it actually adds to it, as it is antique. This was built in the 1920s. The drawers are heavy and nice and the stool to the vanity could use reupholstering in your colors. The most beautiful Italian French Victorian two-tone set! Very rare to find a set by this maker. The headboards are 50 inches tall. The foot boards are 25 inches tall by 44 1/4 inches long. The nightstand is 28 inches tall by 21 inches long by 15 1/4 inches deep.
The vanity is 30 1/2 inches tall by 50 inches long by 20 1/4 inches deep. The tall gentleman's chest is 51 inches tall by 37 inches long by 19 1/2 inches deep. The low ladies dresser is 35 1/2 inches tall by 49 1/2 inches long by 22 1/2 inches deep. I would guess that the whole set weighs approximately 400 pounds.
